Responsibilities

• Configure, manage, and maintain Jamf Pro, including policies, configuration profiles, smart groups, and extension attributes.
• Use Tanium for real-time visibility, security monitoring, patching, and vulnerability remediation across macOS endpoints.
• Design, test, and deploy macOS configuration profiles, software packages, and OS updates.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Bash, zsh, or Python to streamline device management and operational tasks.
• Manage the full macOS device lifecycle - from provisioning (Apple Business Manager / Zero Touch) to decommissioning.
• Serve as a Tier 3 escalation point for complex macOS, application, and network issues.
• Collaborate with Information Security to ensure compliance with company policies, CIS benchmarks, and security frameworks.

 

Required Skills

• Strong Jamf Pro administration experience
• Proficiency with Tanium for endpoint management and security.
• macOS engineering experience, including configuration profiles and OS deployment
• Scripting skills in Bash, zsh, or Python
• Experience with Apple Business Manager and device lifecycle management
• Strong troubleshooting and escalation support experience
• Familiarity with security/compliance standards (CIS, corporate policies)

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications in Jamf, Apple, or security frameworks
• Experience with modern macOS management and enterprise mobility solutions
• Knowledge of Zero Trust, MDM security best practices, and vulnerability management
