Job Description: 

• The purpose of a M&A Data Manager is to support the overall M&A team, covering all aspects of Data including one or more of data quality, migration and MDG.
• The Data Manager will define the data strategy, plan, and best practice related to data quality, migration and/or MDG for the Transaction.
• The Candidate will execute the planning, analysis, design and deliver an end-to-end solution that meets the Client’s expectations and delivers value.

 

Key Responsibilities include (but not limited to):  

• Leading Clients team members through the strategy definition and planning phase, with a focus on all aspects of Data. 
• Assisting with the Due Diligence especially the creation and development of the IT Data Model – which describes the future state as well as the transition roadmap. 
• Identifies and tracks expected synergies coming from IT Data Model. 
• Ensure the IT Data Model is consistent with the overall TOM (Target Operating Model) and all the workstreams within in (for example Applications, Infra, Change Management and all the functional workstreams (Finance, HR, Procurement etc) 
• Prepare the Day 1 plan for Data ensuring it is aligned with the overall Day 1 plan, Further plans will likely be required for Day 100 etc). 
  Support the creation of required TSA’s. 
• Prepare the Post Close Integration plans which serve to deliver the synergies and enable TSA Exit.

 

Key Skills and Knowledge: 

• Candidate must have very good communication and presentation skills with the ability to lead workshops and provide comprehensive, high quality written documentation. 
• Candidate must have experience of leading teams and demonstrate a track record of delivery, delivering robust end-to-end solutions that meet and exceed the Client expectations and are delivered on time and on budget.  
• Candidate must have demonstrable experience of at least two aspects of Data quality, migration or MDG.  
• Candidate must have experience of interacting with and managing Client stakeholders and be able to demonstrate that trusted advisor relationships have been formed. 
• Candidate should be a self-starter with a positive, “Can do” attitude who is adept at problem solving and delivering the required project objectives.

 

Experience: 

• Candidate must have experience from two end to end SAP implementations – one of which must have been in the Data Lead role
