Load Balancing Service Fulfillment Engineer

Responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise-level load balancing and application delivery infrastructure. Supports end-to-end lifecycle management, service fulfillment, and ensures secure, reliable, and high-performing solutions. Collaborates with global engineering teams and business stakeholders to drive innovation, process improvements, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end lifecycle of application delivery infrastructure, including design, implementation, upgrades, patching, and decommissioning.

• Design solutions following industry best practices, security standards, and enterprise policies.

• Develop implementation plans, runbooks, and automation for efficient deployment.

• Ensure compliance with security controls and SLA/KPI targets.

• Troubleshoot advanced networking issues (BGP, HTTPS, TCP/IP, SSL) and maintain service reliability.

• Collaborate with global engineering and operations teams on service design and transition.

• Perform design validation, QA testing, and metrics reporting for senior leadership.

• Maintain peer review and implementation standards to reduce change-related incidents.

Required Skills & Expertise:

• 5+ years F5 LTM/GTM; 1+ year F5 APM/ASM experience.

• Experience with AVI/VMware, F5 API iControl, and application integration.

• Strong knowledge of load balancers, DNS, SSL offload, application switching, persistence, web acceleration, and TCP optimization.

• Understanding of SSL PKI, certificate/key management, and rollover processes.

• Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for complex network environments.

• Experience managing large, globally dispersed teams.

• Excellent written/verbal communication and client interaction skills.

Desired Skills:

• ITIL knowledge or certification; BA/BS degree or equivalent.

• Python and Bash scripting experience.

• Familiarity with F5 advanced modules: Web Accelerator, ASM, APM.

• Experience in root cause analysis, risk mitigation, security assessments, and threat analysis.
