Bachelor's degree in computer science, systems analysis or a related study, or equivalent experience.
•       5+ years of experience of Red Hat Linux OS
•       Strong knowledge of AWS technologies. AWS certification preferred.
•       Expert in the understanding of the Red Hat Enterprise Linux operating system.
•       Comprehensive understanding of Red Hat Satellite, and Kickstart
•       Understanding of VMware virtualization infrastructure running Linux guest OS.
•       Understanding the concepts associated with the governance of open systems security and SELinux.
•       Experience with SSSD and connectivity with Active Directory
•       Strong scripting skills.
•       Strong understanding of files systems, concepts, and logical volume management.
•       Solid verbal and written communications skills.
•       Must be team player.

  Specific Responsibilities:
•       Provide day to day operational support for the Linux and Amazon Linux environments, which are based in regional data center locations as well as the AWS cloud. 
•       24x7 "On-call" support rotation required
•       Patch, upgrade and maintain the OS. 
•       Ensure all systems maintain correct configurations.  Make recommendations for operational improvements. 
•       Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for our installed technical solutions.  Work on troubleshooting issues and addressing to meet SLAs.
•       As a member of the OS Support team, you will be providing incident support for all Linux and Amazon Linux systems on a rotating basis. 
•       Monitor the various application work queues, and complete incoming requests in a timely manner
•       Participate in root cause analysis bridges and provide technical assistance when required.
•       Frequently monitor and review system capacities.
