Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain Linux server systems.
• Perform routine system administration tasks, including system monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Implement and manage security measures to protect server infrastructure.
• Perform system updates, patch management, and ensure server compliance with industry standards.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to plan and execute server upgrades and migrations.
• Monitor server performance, analyze system logs, and optimize system resources.
• Develop and maintain server documentation, configurations, and procedures.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Linux technologies and best practices.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior administrators and team members.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Extensive experience with Linux server administration in enterprise environments.
• Proficiency in shell scripting and automation.
• Strong knowledge of server hardware, networking, and virtualization technologies.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices and tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
