Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Lead Release Manager to oversee and drive end-to-end release management processes across multiple enterprise applications. This role requires strong coordination, planning, and execution skills to ensure smooth, timely, and high-quality software deployments in a complex environment.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Lead day-to-day release management activities across multiple systems and applications in an enterprise software environment
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute release schedules, ensuring alignment with business and technical stakeholders
  • Manage the full release lifecycle, including planning, scheduling, deployment, and post-release support
  • Oversee change management processes, including reviewing and approving change requests
  • Identify, track, and resolve release-related issues, risks, and dependencies across teams
  • Collaborate with development, QA, DevOps, and operations teams to ensure seamless deployments
  • Maintain release documentation, runbooks, and deployment procedures
  • Drive continuous improvement of release management processes and tools
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in Deployment/Release Management within an enterprise software environment (non-hardware)
  • Strong background in release engineering and deployment processes
  • Proven experience executing release plans and managing cross-functional dependencies
  • Experience with change management and issue resolution in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
  • Familiarity with tools such as Jenkins, Git, Azure DevOps, or similar
  • ITIL or relevant certifications are a plus
