Lead React Front-End Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Lead React Front-End Developer to drive the architecture, design, and implementation of modern, responsive web and mobile front-end applications. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience leading React/Next.js development teams, defining scalable front-end architecture, and delivering enterprise-grade digital platforms in a retail/eCommerce environment.

Required Experience

• 10+ years of overall IT experience.

• 8+ years of hands-on experience with React.js and Next.js development.

• Proven experience leading front-end development teams and delivering enterprise-scale applications.

• Experience in Retail/eCommerce domain is required.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of scalable React.js and Next.js applications.

• Develop reusable front-end components, frameworks, and UI abstractions.

• Collaborate with UX/UI designers, architects, and development teams to deliver high-quality user experiences.

• Drive adoption of AI-assisted development practices using tools such as GitHub Copilot and similar AI accelerators.

• Define and enforce front-end development standards, coding guidelines, and best practices.

• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to quality standards and non-functional requirements.

• Optimize application performance and resolve complex UI issues.

• Coordinate with distributed development teams to ensure successful project delivery.

• Contribute to technical roadmaps and architectural decisions.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with React Native for cross-platform mobile application development.

• Knowledge of Java Spring Boot microservices and API integrations.

• Strong understanding of enterprise application architecture and modern front-end design patterns.
