Job Description
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the performance testing team in designing, developing, and executing test strategies for cloud-native applications.
  • Collaborate with architects, developers, and DevOps teams to understand system architecture and business requirements to create realistic performance test scenarios.
  • Identify system performance bottlenecks and work closely with engineering teams to drive resolution and optimization.
  • Simulate load, stress, and scalability conditions using tools like JMeter, Gatling, or LoadRunner, and provide detailed analysis and insights.
  • Build and maintain reusable performance testing scripts and automation frameworks.
  • Monitor performance in production environments using tools like Datadog, Dynatrace, Grafana, or Prometheus, and suggest improvements proactively.
  • Mentor and support junior team members, promoting best practices and knowledge sharing.
  • Stay current with performance testing trends, tools, and technologies—especially those related to cloud-native and containerized systems.
  • Deliver comprehensive performance reports and communicate key findings, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders.

 

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Proven experience in performance and load testing, with a strong focus on cloud-native applications.
  • Solid understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, as well as container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  • Hands-on experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, Gatling, LoadRunner, or similar.
  • Proficiency in using monitoring and profiling tools like Datadog, Dynatrace, Grafana, or Prometheus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for performance bottlenecks.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating performance testing into the software development lifecycle (SDLC) is highly desirable.
