We are seeking a seasoned IAM leader to oversee identity and access management operations, drive platform reliability, and lead high-performing technical teams. This role combines deep IAM/SRE expertise with strong leadership, operational excellence, and stakeholder engagement.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead and manage IAM support operations across L1/L2/L3 teams, ensuring stable and secure identity services
- Oversee IAM platform reliability, availability, and performance using SRE principles
- Drive IAM architecture, governance, and security best practices aligned with enterprise standards
- Manage on-call rotations, incident response, workload distribution, and operational support processes
- Build, mentor, and develop high-performing IAM engineering teams through coaching and performance management
- Partner with security, infrastructure, and business stakeholders to deliver IAM solutions aligned with compliance requirements
- Ensure adherence to security and regulatory frameworks including SOX, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS
- Lead hiring, onboarding, team structuring, and capability development initiatives
- Champion continuous improvement, automation, and upskilling in IAM and SRE practices
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of cybersecurity/IAM experience, including experience in SRE-based IAM environments
- Proven leadership experience managing technical teams and complex enterprise IAM initiatives
- Strong knowledge of IAM frameworks, security architecture, and compliance standards (SOX, HIPAA, PCI-DSS)
- Experience managing operational IAM support functions, including incident and escalation management
- Demonstrated ability to lead distributed teams and build collaborative, accountable team cultures
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Proven track record of mentoring and developing technical talent
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with enterprise IAM platforms (e.g., SSO, MFA, PAM, directory services)
- Exposure to cloud IAM environments (Azure AD, AWS IAM, or equivalent)
- Experience implementing automation and SRE practices within IAM operations
