We are seeking an experienced Lead Engineer – Oracle Retail to join our team in Seattle, WA. In this role, you will play a key part in analyzing business needs, designing, and implementing Oracle Retail solutions (RMS, ReSA, RPM, RIB). You’ll lead technical efforts, provide L3 production support, and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver high-performing, scalable systems in a cloud-integrated environment.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and design technical solutions using Oracle Retail suite.
• Implement and customize Oracle Retail applications, including RMS, ReSA, RPM, and RIB.
• Partner with cross-functional technical teams (middleware, database, infrastructure) to develop service-oriented architecture and interface documentation.
• Provide Level 3 (L3) support for production issues and ensure system reliability.
• Support Oracle Retail technology projects, including patch installations, upgrades, and performance improvements.
• Ensure integration and scalability with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Oracle Cloud, or Azure).
• Drive troubleshooting with analytical reasoning and structured problem-solving.
• Collaborate in both Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.
• Lead and mentor other engineers, sharing best practices and technical guidance.

Qualifications & Technical Expertise

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience with Oracle Retail applications (RMS, ReSA, RPM, RIB, RSE Services).
• 3+ years of experience in solution design for enterprise applications.
• Proven hands-on experience in Oracle Retail customizations and integrations.
• Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Oracle Cloud, Azure).
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
• Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal.
• Experience with high-performance transactional systems.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD is a plus.
