Job Description

We are seeking a Lead E-Commerce Engineer to drive architecture, development, and delivery of our digital commerce platforms. This role combines hands-on engineering, technical leadership, and deep expertise in the Adobe ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor e-commerce engineers; set technical standards and conduct code reviews.
  • Architect and enhance core e-commerce capabilities (catalog, checkout, payments, OMS).
  • Develop and maintain React-based front-end, APIs, microservices, and serverless architectures.
  • Integrate systems across CRM, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, booking engines, logistics, and third-party APIs.
  • Ensure performance, SEO, accessibility (WCAG), reliability, and security compliance (PCI, PII).
  • Manage CDN/edge solutions (Akamai), cloud infrastructure (AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform), and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Lead Adobe ecosystem adoption: AEM, Adobe Experience Platform, Journey Optimizer, Analytics, Target, personalization tools.
  • Leverage analytics, experimentation, and AI tools (Copilot, Kiro AI, Claude) to drive optimization.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years software engineering experience, 3+ years in technical leadership.
  • Strong hands-on experience with AEM, React, Java/Spring Boot, APIs, and microservices.
  • Experience with e-commerce integrations (Salesforce Commerce Cloud, OMS, CRM), API Gateways, GraphQL, OAuth.
  • Cloud & DevOps: AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform/CloudFormation, CI/CD, monitoring (Dynatrace, Splunk, Grafana).
  • QA & Testing: Automated testing (Playwright, BrowserStack, Xray), performance & security testing (K6, Lighthouse CI, SonarQube).
  • Knowledge of PCI, WCAG, PII, encryption, and security best practices.
