Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of large-scale data architectures on AWS, including data ingestion, processing, and storage.
• Ensure data quality, security, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop data-driven solutions that meet business requirements.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers in developing their skills and knowledge in AWS data engineering.
• Develop technical roadmaps and strategic plans for data engineering initiatives.
• Identify and prioritize opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
• Collaborate with other teams to drive business outcomes through data-driven insights.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services and technologies, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong Experience in SQL, Pyspark & Databricks along with DBT tool use/AWS Redshift experience.
• Lead Data Engineer with very strong hands on Python and other big data ecosystem experience.
• Have worked with service based companies before and experience of onsite-offshore coordination.
• Must be ready to do an onsite job for in the Los Angeles, CA area.
