Lead static equipment design activities and ASME/PED certification processes for pressure vessels and related equipment.
Prepare, review, update, and revalidate design calculations, drawings, and certification documents in response to Inspection Agency and Notified Body comments.
Ensure compliance with ASME Section VIII & IX, PED requirements, welding codes, and industry standards.
Develop, review, and maintain Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS), Welding Procedure Qualification Records (WPQR), and Welder Performance Qualifications (WPQ).
Coordinate welder qualification programs and maintain certification records in accordance with applicable codes.
Support ASME certification audits, PED technical dossiers, CE marking documentation, and regulatory compliance activities.
Conduct technical reviews of welding procedures, materials, fabrication methods, and quality documentation.
Deliver training and awareness programs on ASME standards, welding compliance, and certification requirements.
Identify compliance gaps, drive corrective actions, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong expertise in ASME Section VIII Div. 1/2, ASME Section IX, welding processes, and code interpretations.
Hands-on experience with ASME certification documentation, audit support, and inspection agency interactions.
Proficiency in pressure vessel design and calculation software such as PV Elite, Compress, or equivalent.
Knowledge of stress analysis, load calculations, material selection, and code compliance.
Experience in preparing PED technical files, CE marking documentation, and managing Notified Body reviews.
Excellent technical documentation, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
