Job Description
Primary Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership and production support for AMI applications, including Meter Asset Management Systems (MAMS), Meter Data Management Systems (MDMS), Head-End Systems (HES), and field service applications.
Collaborate with vendors and business stakeholders to review release notes, coordinate upgrades, and implement application enhancements.
Support application monitoring, troubleshooting, incident management, root cause analysis, and preventive actions.
Lead the design, development, implementation, and support of in-house and vendor-based applications.
Develop system designs, data models, APIs, process flows, use cases, and SDLC documentation.
Analyze technology components for vendor support, licensing, cybersecurity compliance, and roadmap planning.
Work with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and deliver high-quality solutions.
Monitor application performance, ensure license compliance, and drive continuous service improvements.
Establish operational processes, monitoring frameworks, and best practices to improve system reliability and operational excellence.
Mentor team members and provide technical guidance to engineers and support staff.

Required Skills

Strong experience supporting Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) applications.
Experience with MAMS, MDMS, HES, and field service management applications.
Strong understanding of System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
Experience with API design, system integration, data modeling, and application architecture.
Strong troubleshooting, incident management, and root cause analysis skills.
Knowledge of application monitoring, operational support, and production support processes.
Experience working with vendors, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
Understanding of cybersecurity, software licensing, and compliance requirements.

Preferred Skills

Experience in utility, energy, or smart metering environments.
Knowledge of ITIL processes and operational excellence practices.
Experience with Agile delivery methodologies.
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
