We are seeking an experienced LabVantage Technical Architect / SME with 5+ years of hands-on LabVantage experience. The ideal candidate will have strong technical implementation and integration expertise across LabVantage LIMS/LES, Empower 3, SDMS, and laboratory instruments.
Must-Have Technical Skills
- 5+ years of hands-on LabVantage experience.
- Strong experience with LabVantage LIMS / LES.
- Hands-on experience evaluating, designing, and configuring the LabVantage Empower Connector.
- Experience integrating Empower 3 (v3.6.1) with LabVantage 8.8.
- Strong experience with LabVantage SDMS.
- Experience integrating complex, file-based laboratory instruments with LabVantage LIMS/LES.
- Experience integrating simple analytical instruments for data capture.
- Knowledge of laboratory instrument interfaces and connectivity options.
- Experience configuring hardware devices such as Lantronix for network connectivity.
- Experience configuring analytical devices such as balances and meters for LabVantage data capture.
- Understanding of data integrity risks and integration best practices.
- Experience evaluating different technical and configuration approaches and recommending appropriate solutions.
- LabVantage certification is preferred but not mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the LabVantage Technical Architect and SME.
- Evaluate, design, and configure Empower 3 to LabVantage integrations.
- Evaluate and configure LabVantage SDMS for bidirectional integration with complex laboratory instruments.
- Design and implement interfaces between laboratory instruments and LabVantage LIMS/LES.
- Evaluate technical environments and recommend appropriate instrument integration approaches.
- Configure simple analytical devices to enable reliable data capture within LabVantage.
- Configure network hardware such as Lantronix for laboratory device connectivity.
- Assess existing technical configurations, master data, functional configurations, and archive solutions to determine optimal integration approaches.
- Provide recommendations that minimize data integrity risks.
- Work with business users, stakeholders, and technical teams to complete assigned workstreams.
- Lead technical implementation activities and ensure deliverables meet expected quality and timelines.
- Manage customer deliverables and provide timely project reporting.
- Provide technical guidance and knowledge transfer to project team members.
