Key Responsibilities

• Create and implement software solutions to manage operational activities in our specialty genetics laboratories.
• Monitor and enhance the availability, performance, and scalability of laboratory workflows.
• Work closely with product owners, software engineers, and R&D scientists to gather and implement requirements effectively.
• Build and maintain code that interacts with third-party vendor applications.
• Guide and mentor other engineers and project team members to foster growth and collaboration.

Required Experience/Skills

• B.S. in Bioengineering, Computer Science, or a related field with 5+ years of experience; MS/PhD preferred.
• 3+ years in a regulated industrial life sciences environment or equivalent.
• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and Vue.js.
• Experience with version control tools (e.g., GitLab).
• Familiarity with Linux environments.
• Knowledge of unit testing practices.
• Demonstrated ability to work with vendor APIs or file-based communication for integration and development.
• Experience supporting and maintaining applications interacting with third-party vendor software.
