We are seeking an experienced L2 Operational Analyst with expertise in the BlackRock Aladdin platform to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide advanced support for investment applications, trading systems, and related infrastructure, working closely with vendors and internal stakeholders.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide L2 support and administration for the BlackRock Aladdin platform, including liaison with the vendor for issue resolution and system enhancements.
- Handle incident management for investment applications, trading venues, file ingestion processes, and third-party leased line connectivity for US regional services.
- Support client and user requests related to Aladdin, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- Apply Asset Management domain knowledge to troubleshoot and support applications, with a focus on Fixed Income, Equity, Derivatives, and Alternatives products, and understand how they are modeled and traded within Aladdin.
- Utilize SQL for data investigation and analysis within the Aladdin database.
- Follow ITIL processes and Service Management best practices for L2 support and vendor management.
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners, providing clear communication, documentation, and presentations.
- Maintain attention to detail, demonstrate initiative, and perform well under pressure.
Preferred Technical Skills
- UNIX/Linux systems
- Scripting with Python or PERL
Qualifications
- Proven experience in L2 support within Asset Management or financial services
- Strong understanding of trading systems, investment products, and associated operational workflows
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
