Job Description
Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and maintain production systems to ensure optimal performance and availability.
  • Respond to and resolve incidents escalated from Level 1 support, utilizing problem-solving skills and technical knowledge.
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues related to applications and infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to diagnose and implement solutions for recurring problems.
  • Perform root cause analysis on issues and contribute to the development of long-term solutions.
  • Document incidents, resolutions, and procedures to enhance knowledge sharing within the team.
  • Assist in the deployment and configuration of application updates and new releases.

 

Qualifications/skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and experience with incident management processes.
  • Proficiency in [relevant technologies, languages, databases, or tools, e.g., SQL, UNIX/Linux, Java, etc.].
  • Experience with monitoring tools and ticketing systems alike.
  • Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and best practices is a plus.
  • Experience using Service Now.
  • Experience setting up alerts in the New Relic dashboard.
