Job Responsibilities

• Familiarity or skills to quickly become familiar with existing LAN, WAN, and Firewalls.
• Support the project as the highest priority to ensure the office and productive networks are working, troubleshoot issues, and resolve them within very short timeframes.
• Implement a wireless controller along with "guest wireless"
• Document changes, and validate/update current network documentation.
• the focus will be on supporting other regional network issues as the internal SME guiding both ISPs for outages as well as the MSP monitoring Team.

Requirements

• Experience with networking hardware (routers, switches, firewalls) and software, as well as experience with network troubleshooting and configuration.
• Experience working within a Manufacturing Plant environment is a plus.
• Familiarity or skills to quickly become familiar with existing LAN, WAN, Firewalls
• In-depth knowledge of networking protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP).
• Familiarity with network security principles and practices, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field is often required.
