Job Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Kafka clusters (brokers, topics, partitions, retention policies).
• Monitor Kafka cluster performance, availability, and health.
• Troubleshoot and optimize Kafka performance (memory, replication, throughput).
• Implement security (SSL, SASL, ACLs) and manage access control.
• Deploy and scale Kafka containers using Kubernetes.
• Configure and maintain Kubernetes clusters for high availability and performance.
• Monitor Kubernetes environment and troubleshoot Kafka deployments.
• Work with DevOps and development teams to integrate Kafka into applications.
• Provide documentation and training on Kafka and Kubernetes best practices.

Job Requirements

• Hands-on experience managing Kafka clusters and Kubernetes environments.
• Familiarity with Kafka monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation (e.g., Helm, Jenkins).
• Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, Go).
• Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) is a plus.
