We are seeking an experienced Kotlin Developer with strong expertise in Spring Boot, Apache Kafka, and Microservices to design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building distributed systems, developing RESTful APIs, integrating messaging platforms, and working with relational and NoSQL databases.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications using Kotlin and Spring Boot.
- Build and implement microservices-based architectures and RESTful APIs.
- Develop and maintain event-driven applications using Apache Kafka.
- Design, develop, and optimize relational and NoSQL database solutions.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and application designs.
- Design and model complex software architectures and distributed systems.
- Develop, deploy, and maintain applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Leverage GCP services such as Google Cloud Storage, BigQuery, and Vertex AI for application development and feature implementation.
- Perform application troubleshooting, debugging, performance tuning, and optimization.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated release management processes.
- Work with tools such as Maven, Git, Jenkins, and Salt.
- Collaborate closely with clients, architects, business analysts, and cross-functional development teams.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, technical discussions, and release planning.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation and design specifications.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in software application development and requirement specification.
- Strong hands-on experience with Kotlin, Spring Boot, and Apache Kafka.
- Extensive experience developing microservices and RESTful APIs.
- Experience with distributed and multi-tier application architectures.
- Strong knowledge of relational and/or NoSQL databases.
- Proficiency in data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns.
- Experience with application architecture, system design, and modeling.
- Hands-on experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Strong understanding of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD).
- Experience with Maven, Git, Jenkins, and Salt for build, deployment, and release management.
- Good understanding of HTTP, Apache, and web technologies.
- Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments.
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and application performance optimization skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
