Kofax Developer

Core Responsibilities

• Design and develop end-to-end Kofax solutions including workflows, capture processes, and KTM-based data extraction models.
• Implement intelligent document processing solutions for classification, extraction, validation, and routing of documents.
• Integrate Kofax platforms with enterprise applications such as ECM systems, databases, and cloud-based platforms using REST and SOAP APIs.
• Develop custom scripts and extensions using C#, VB.NET, JavaScript, and VBScript following object-oriented design principles.
• Configure, install, and maintain Kofax environments, including servers, scanning components, and service pack upgrades.
• Perform performance tuning, troubleshooting, and optimization of Kofax applications and workflows.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
• Prepare technical documentation including High-Level Design (HLD), Low-Level Design (LLD), and test plans.
• Support testing, deployment, and production rollout activities for Kofax solutions.
• Ensure system stability, security, and compliance with enterprise standards.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Kofax development and enterprise document capture solutions.
• Strong hands-on experience with Kofax TotalAgility (KTA) and Kofax Transformation Modules (KTM).
• Proficiency in C#, VB.NET, JavaScript, and VBScript.
• Experience with REST and SOAP-based integrations.
• Strong understanding of workflow automation and document processing lifecycle.
• Experience in system installation, configuration, and maintenance of Kofax environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with enterprise ECM platforms and cloud integration.
• Familiarity with database systems and SQL.
• Strong experience in production support and performance tuning.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
