Roles and Responsibilities

• Completes work assignments by applying up-to-date knowledge in subject area to meet deadlines.

Required Qualifications/Skills

• Experienced in Confluent Kafka clusters, tuning, capacity planning, disaster recovery, replication, and troubleshooting.
• Implementing Kafka security, limiting bandwidth usage, enforcing client quotas, and replication. 
• 8+ years solid Linux/Unix experience.
• Deploying and supporting applications both on-premises and cloud platform.
• Package management (YUM, RPM, APT, DPKG, tar, ...).
• Virtualization platforms (VMware, citrix, Hyper-V, Amazon, VirtualBox....).
• Experienced in Writing scripts/code for automation.
