Roles & Responsibilities

• Build and maintain message configuration and flows.
  
• Provide issue analysis on Kafka applications.
  
• Translate written requirements and specifications.
  
• Develop software on written requirements.
  
• Assist with MDM strategy and Process design, Run unit tests, Document tests, and present findings.
  
• Analyse issues with Kafka software and provide detailed solutions.
  
• Collaborate with team members for operations support and Maintain the performance of applications and databases.

 

Required Qualifications/Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  
• Experience working on Kafka connect using schema registry in a very high-volume environment.
• Understanding of Kafka config properties (acks, timeouts, buffering, partitioning, etc. ).
• Expertise in Kafka brokers, zookeepers, KSQL, KStream, and Kafka Control Center.
• Hands-on experience working on Converters (Avro/Json) and Kafka connectors.
  
• Hands-on experience with custom connectors using the Kafka core concepts and API.
• Working knowledge of Kafka Rest proxy. Ensure the optimum performance, high availability, and stability of solutions.
