Key Responsibilities

• Manage and configure Jira and Confluence, ensuring they are functioning efficiently for team collaboration, reporting, and project management.
• Present and provide technical insights during sprint reviews, showcasing platform configurations, customizations, and system improvements.
• Lead and execute Jira and Confluence migrations from legacy systems to the latest versions, ensuring data integrity and minimal downtime. Integrate Jira and Confluence with other enterprise tools using APIs.
• Utilize Python and APIs to automate processes, enhance workflows, and build custom solutions for Jira and Confluence environments.
• Develop and maintain advanced Jira Query Language (JQL) scripts to create customized reports, dashboards, and filters.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to streamline development workflows, integrate Jira with CI/CD pipelines, and support continuous integration and deployment practices.
• Provide ongoing support to end users, troubleshoot issues, and conduct training sessions to help teams maximize their use of Jira and Confluence.
• Continuously monitor the system, identify potential improvements, and implement changes to enhance overall performance and usability.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience in configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting Jira and Confluence environments.
• Hands-on experience in migrating Jira and Confluence instances, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption to users.
• Proficiency in Python scripting and using APIs to integrate Jira and Confluence with other enterprise tools or to automate tasks.
• Familiarity with DevOps principles and experience in integrating Jira and Confluence into CI/CD pipelines.
• Expertise in advanced Jira Query Language (JQL) for creating complex queries, reports, and dashboards.
• Ability to present technical and configuration updates in sprint reviews effectively, communicating complex information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and departments.
