Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
  • Administer and maintain Jira environments, including system setup and ongoing configuration
  • Configure and manage custom fields, workflows, screens, schemes, and issue types
  • Manage user roles, permissions, security schemes, and access controls
  • Design, implement, and maintain global automations and Jira Automation rules
  • Evaluate, install, configure, and support Atlassian Marketplace / third-party plugins
  • Partner with engineering, product, and leadership teams to support Agile, Scrum, and Kanban workflows
  • Provide guidance and best practices for Jira usage across teams
  • Lead Jira governance, standards, and platform optimization initiatives
  • Troubleshoot Jira-related issues and provide timely resolutions
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders and provide platform usage insights
 
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 8+ years of overall IT experience
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in Jira / Atlassian Administration
  • Strong expertise in Jira administration, including:
    • System setup and configuration
    • Custom fields, workflows, screens, and schemes
    • Permissions, roles, and security management
  • Hands-on experience with global automations and Jira Automation rules
  • Experience managing Atlassian Marketplace and third-party plugins
  • Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and SDLC processes
  • Prior experience in a lead or manager role.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
