Roles and Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand existing legacy application functionality.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy modern web applications using JavaScript and frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Build and integrate with RESTful APIs, databases, and back-end services.
• Ensure applications are secure, high-performing, and scalable.
• Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code following best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Assist with the migration of data and functionality from ColdFusion applications.
• Provide technical documentation and user support throughout the contract period.
• Stay current with JavaScript trends and emerging technologies.

Required Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in JavaScript development.
• Strong knowledge of modern JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience with at least one front-end framework/library (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
• Proficiency in working with RESTful APIs and asynchronous JavaScript.
• Familiarity with Git and version control best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively in a contract role.
