Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Java developers in the design, development, and maintenance of telecom billing systems and applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define project scope, and establish timelines for delivery.
• Architect scalable and robust billing solutions that meet the evolving needs of the telecom industry.
• Conduct code reviews, provide technical guidance, and mentor junior team members to enhance their skills and productivity.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to billing systems, ensuring uninterrupted service delivery.
• Develop and maintain documentation, including technical specifications, user guides, and test plans.
• Support production deployments and participate in on-call rotations to address critical issues outside of regular business hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• 12+ years of experience in Java development, with a focus on telecom billing systems.
• Strong Technical skills in Oracle Cloud and other cloud technologies.
• Experience in Handling file fields and report generation.
• Extensive experience in deploying software across a variety of platforms and operating systems, especially Linux.
• Experience working with SQL (Oracle).
• Familiarity with PLSQL.
• Certification in relevant technologies or methodologies (e.g., Java, TOGAF) is a plus.
