Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and documentation of applications using J2EE, Spring Boot/Cloud/MVC, Streams, and APIs
• Build and optimize microservices interacting with relational, NoSQL, and graph databases
• Work with Kafka, Spark, and modern real-time data processing pipelines
• Design and deliver solutions using cloud-native services (Azure/AWS/GCP)
• Implement secure, scalable integrations with OAuth, LDAP, and enterprise systems
• Utilize Azure services (Cosmos DB, BLOB Storage, APIM, AKS, Service Bus, etc.)
• Guide the team through Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps best practices
• Mentor developers, conduct code reviews, and define architectural standards
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements, timelines, and delivery plans
• Ensure compliance with IT standards, security, and regulatory requirements
• Lead delivery teams across portfolio initiatives as needed

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong Java/J2EE experience with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and microservices
• Proficiency in Kafka, Spark, and asynchronous messaging systems
• Hands-on experience with NoSQL and Graph DBs
• Working knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure preferred)
• Familiarity with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes, AKS)
• Experience with OAuth, LDAP, and enterprise integration patterns
• Agile/Scrum project leadership experience
• Cloud certification (Azure/AWS/GCP) preferred
