We are looking for a Java Spark Developer with 5 to 10 years of experience to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex data processing and analytics solutions using Java and Apache Spark. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions and contribute to the overall success of our projects.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement data processing and analytics applications using Java and Apache Spark.
• Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop efficient and scalable solutions.
• Optimize and fine-tune Spark applications for maximum performance and efficiency.
• Debug and troubleshoot issues related to the applications.
• Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
• Collaborate with other developers to ensure seamless integration with other components of the system.
• Keep up to date with the latest technologies, tools, and best practices in the industry.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the team's processes and methodologies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5-10 years of experience in Java development, including experience working with Apache Spark.
• Strong knowledge of Java and object-oriented programming principles.
• Proficiency in Spark, Hadoop ecosystem, and big data processing frameworks.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Cassandra).
• Familiarity with software development methodologies such as Agile and Scrum.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
