Job Description
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Java developers in the design, development, and implementation of Java and Scala-based applications
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions
- Mentor and coach team members on best practices in Java and Scala development
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise
- Stay current on industry trends and new technologies to drive innovation within the team
Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of experience in enterprise Java development
- Strong foundation in Computer Science fundamentals such as data structures and algorithms
- Experienced in delivering advanced solutions for a multi-tier, distributed web application
- Experienced in crafting and implementing REST API, Scala
- Proven strong problem solving and debugging skills
- Experienced in developing applications that utilize relational databases (e.g. Oracle) and other less structured data stores (NoSQL)
- AWS experience
