Job Description
Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of Java developers in the design, development, and implementation of Java and Scala-based applications
  • Collaborate with product owners, architects, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions
  • Mentor and coach team members on best practices in Java and Scala development
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise
  • Stay current on industry trends and new technologies to drive innovation within the team

 

Qualifications
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in enterprise Java development 
  • Strong foundation in Computer Science fundamentals such as data structures and algorithms 
  • Experienced in delivering advanced solutions for a multi-tier, distributed web application 
  • Experienced in crafting and implementing REST API, Scala
  • Proven strong problem solving and debugging skills 
  • Experienced in developing applications that utilize relational databases (e.g. Oracle) and other less structured data stores (NoSQL) 
  • AWS experience
