Roles and Responsibilities

• Competent in performing all programming and development assignments without close supervision; normally assigned the more complex aspects of systems work.
• Works directly on complex application/technical problem identification and resolution, including responding to off-shift and weekend support calls.
• Identifies and encourages areas for growth and improvement within the team.
• Performs integration testing and customer acceptance testing of components that require careful planning and execution to ensure timely, quality results.
• Drives application development focused on delivering valuable business features 6. Maintains high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices and habits.
• Leads development of new functionality and applications on cross-functional teams.
• Communicates with end users and internal customers to help direct the development, debugging, and testing of application software for accuracy, integrity, interoperability, and completeness.

Qualifications/Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  
• 8+ years experience in designing and developing software applications in Java.
• Good Knowledge of AWS,  IAM, Kinesis, DynamoDB, API stack, SQS, SNS, and KMS.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, DevOps, and Java 11.
• Working experience with backend development.
