Key Responsibilities

• Lead performance testing and fine-tuning efforts for Java applications.
• Ensure that applications meet performance benchmarks and identify areas for optimization.
• Develop and maintain high-quality Java code.
• Apply best practices in coding, design patterns, and development methodologies.
• Use advanced troubleshooting techniques to diagnose and resolve performance issues in Java applications.
• Conduct capacity planning and forecasting to ensure applications can handle expected loads and growth.
• Leverage tools like JMeter for performance testing and analysis to support performance optimization efforts.
• Work closely with other developers, system administrators, and stakeholders to ensure that performance requirements are met and issues are resolved efficiently.

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum of 10+ years of experience in software development and performance engineering.
• At least 5 years of experience specifically in Java performance testing.
• Proven experience in fine-tuning Java applications for optimal performance.
• Over 5 years of experience in Java coding, with a strong understanding of Java programming concepts and techniques.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills in Java, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve performance issues.
• Experience in capacity planning and forecasting to manage application performance under various load conditions.
• Experience with JMeter is a plus but not mandatory.
