Roles and Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise-level applications using Java, Spring, and microservices architecture.
• Develop and manage REST APIs, ensuring they are secure, efficient, and well-documented using Swagger.
• Lead architectural discussions and design sessions, ensuring alignment with TOGAF principles.
• Ensure robust security practices, including OAuth, OIDC, and effective authentication and authorization mechanisms.
• Document architecture designs clearly and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
• Conduct unit testing, load testing, and maintain comprehensive code documentation.
• Leverage SQL and ORM technologies such as JPA2 and Hibernate for database interactions.
• Utilize containerization technologies and orchestration tools for application deployment.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Bamboo, and GIT for streamlined development workflows.
• Manage API lifecycle and performance using tools like Layer7 API Developer Portal and Azure API Management.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years of IT experience, with at least 5 years as an Architect.
• Proficiency in Enterprise Java, Spring, XML/XSLT, JSON, Spring Boot, and Spring Security.
• Extensive experience in microservices architecture and RESTful API design.
• Strong knowledge of Azure Cloud services and experience designing cloud-native applications.
• Experience with monitoring tools and building resilient architectures.
• Solid understanding of Active Directory and LDAP.
• Familiarity with Pivotal Cloud Foundry (Tanzu Application Service) or other public cloud platforms.
• Experience with infrastructure automation and policy development.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to document designs and articulate technical concepts clearly.
