Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Java 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition (J2EE) applications that meet the organization's software requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, software engineers, and business analysts, to gather and analyze software requirements.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using J2EE technologies such as Java, Servlets, JSP, EJB, and JMS.
• Develop and maintain web-based applications, RESTful APIs, and microservices using J2EE frameworks.
• Work with databases, including designing and optimizing database schema, writing SQL queries, and using ORM frameworks like Hibernate.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues in a timely manner.
• Ensure software applications are secure and compliant with best practices for data privacy and security.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest J2EE technologies and industry trends, recommending and implementing improvements as needed.
• Participate in code reviews, provide technical guidance to junior developers, and assist in system testing and quality assurance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a J2EE developer, with 5 to 10 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong knowledge of J2EE technologies, including Java, Servlets, JSP, EJB, JMS, and Java EE containers like Apache Tomcat, JBoss, or WebLogic.
• Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and web frameworks.
• Proficiency in database design and SQL, including experience with relational database management systems (e.g., Oracle, MySQL).
• Familiarity with design patterns and software architecture best practices.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile software development methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.
• Knowledge of software security best practices and data privacy regulations.
