Roles and Responsibilities

• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to prepare design mapping specifications. 
• Perform integration testing and production support.
• Ability to optimize/tuning of ITX maps.
• Must possess a strong proven, hands-on experience and understanding of the EDI X12 transactions formats that govern healthcare Electronic Data Interchange (EDI).  
• Ability to provide analysis from an ITX perspective on map functionality and design for new maps and updated maps. 
• Design, Develop, and Test all the WTX/ITX Maps and move to the Production Environment along with documentation. 

Preferred Skills/Qualifications

• Computer Science and Software Development skills.
• Strong Problem-solving skills to resolve defects/issues and facilitate troubleshooting of integration issues. 
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Knowledge of DB, Java, and SQL for SNIP 7 Validation used in HIPAA Compliance Check. 
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming (OOP).
• Deep knowledge of ITX mappings from EDI to XML & vice-versa. 
• Extensive knowledge of IBM ITXA Tool with HIPAA Compliance Check. 
• Experience in back-end web development and programming.
• Experience in EDI. 
• Experience with Agile development methodologies is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred.
