Roles and Responsibilities

• Implement and manage F5 solutions to enhance network security and application delivery.
• Monitor and respond to security alerts, leveraging intrusion detection systems and Palo Alto X-Series firewalls.
• Conduct security assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify and mitigate risks.
• Manage security information and event management (SIEM) systems to analyze and correlate security events.
• Provide expertise on network security concepts, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
• Stay current with emerging security threats and technologies, adapting security practices accordingly.
• Assist in the development and implementation of security frameworks, including the NIST Cybersecurity Framework.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or equivalent certifications.
• 5+ years of experience in IT security, with expertise in intrusion detection, Palo Alto X-Series firewalls, and F5 solutions.
• Strong understanding of network security concepts, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection.
• Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) systems.
• Familiarity with security frameworks, such as the NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
