Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the successful delivery of large-scale IAM projects, ensuring adherence to timeline, budget, and quality standards.
  • Direct the implementation of Active Directory and other IAM solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing enterprise infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, security, infrastructure, and business stakeholders, to define project scope, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Establish and manage project plans, resource allocation, risk assessments, and milestones to ensure alignment with business goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide expert guidance and leadership to internal and external teams, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Identify and resolve project challenges proactively, ensuring project objectives are met without compromising quality or security.
  • Regularly report on project progress to senior leadership, highlighting potential risks, issues, and solutions.
  • Ensure IAM solutions are implemented in compliance with regulatory standards, security protocols, and best practices.
  • Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and deliverables to ensure that external partners are aligned with the project vision and timelines.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in IAM technologies, promoting best practices and recommending new solutions to improve the organization's security posture.

 

Required Skills and Experience
  • Expert-level knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM) technologies and methodologies.
  • Proven experience in managing and delivering Active Directory projects in large enterprise environments.
  • Strong people management and team leadership skills, with a demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional collaboration and accelerate project timelines.
  • Deep understanding of enterprise infrastructure, security protocols, and regulatory requirements related to IAM.
  • Experience with large-scale IT initiatives, including project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
  • Ability to navigate complex organizational structures and drive alignment across various teams and stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

 

Preferred Qualifications
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or other project management certifications.
  • Experience with cloud-based IAM solutions (e.g., Azure AD, Okta, etc.).
  • Familiarity with IAM-related compliance frameworks such as SOX, GDPR, HIPAA, or NIST.
  • CISSP or other relevant cybersecurity certifications.
