IT Project Analyst - Retail Technology

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Analyst to support technology initiatives related to new store openings, remodels, and store closures. This role will coordinate technology deployments, hardware procurement, system implementations, and project activities across IT teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors to ensure timely and successful execution.

The ideal candidate will have strong project coordination skills, experience supporting IT systems and technology implementations, and the ability to manage multiple activities, dependencies, and stakeholders in a fast-paced, multi-location retail environment.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end IT activities for new store openings, remodels, and store closures.

• Manage the coordination of hardware, packaged technology solutions, equipment orders, shipments, installations, and deployments.

• Collaborate with IT teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors to coordinate project deliverables, resolve issues, and ensure implementation readiness.

• Develop, maintain, and track project plans, schedules, estimates, milestones, and supporting documentation.

• Support system testing, technology deployment, implementation readiness, and change management activities.

• Identify and track project risks, issues, dependencies, and potential delays, escalating concerns through appropriate channels.

• Monitor project progress and communicate status updates, outstanding actions, and key milestones to relevant stakeholders.

• Support existing production applications and systems, including enhancements, issue resolution, and ongoing operational needs.

• Coordinate cross-functional activities to ensure technology solutions are delivered in alignment with business requirements and project timelines.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience.

• 3–5+ years of experience supporting IT systems, applications, technology implementations, or IT projects.

• Experience implementing, deploying, or supporting hardware and packaged technology solutions.

• Demonstrated experience coordinating activities across multiple IT teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.

• Experience with project planning, scheduling, risk identification, issue tracking, dependency management, and escalation.

• Strong project coordination, organizational, and time management skills.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and nontechnical teams.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliverables in a deadline-driven environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting IT operations in a multi-location retail environment.

• Experience with new store openings, store remodels, closures, or retail technology deployments.

• Familiarity with retail hardware, store systems, packaged applications, and technology rollout processes.

• Experience coordinating equipment procurement, logistics, installation, testing, and deployment activities.
