Our client is looking for an experienced IT Manager for our Network Services team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge in network engineering, cloud technologies, and team management. You will be responsible for leading a team of engineers, overseeing network operations, and ensuring the security and efficiency of our hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
Responsibilities
- Manage and mentor a team of engineering professionals, fostering a collaborative environment and driving team performance.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and management of network infrastructure, including Cisco, Palo Alto, F5, and WAN technologies.
- Manage and optimize cloud network engineering and security across multiple platforms, including Azure, OCI, AWS, and GCP.
- Lead initiatives involving virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and containerization platforms (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Plan, execute, and oversee network-related projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
- Implement and manage hybrid and multi-cloud environments, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
- Foster a DevOps culture within the team, developing and managing CI/CD pipelines to enhance deployment efficiency.
- Analyze complex network issues, providing effective solutions and troubleshooting as necessary.
- Understand and manage budgets related to network services, aligning financial principles with operational goals.
Qualifications
- Four (4) year degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- 8-10 years in IT, with at least 3-5 years managing engineering teams.
- Hands-on experience with virtualization and containerization technologies.
- Proven expertise in cloud network engineering and security.
- Advanced knowledge of major network technologies (Cisco, PA, F5, WAN, BGP, IPSec, Layer 2 and L3, HCX).
- Strong leadership, communication, and mentoring abilities, with a proven track record of guiding teams.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to address complex technical challenges.
- Ability to understand business objectives and translate them into actionable IT strategies.
