Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Change Management Specialist to oversee and execute IT change management processes. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of best practices, change management tools, and the ability to manage change initiatives effectively under pressure. You will play a key role in ensuring that IT changes are implemented smoothly, minimizing risk and disruption while maximizing operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the IT Change Management process, ensuring that changes to systems, services, and infrastructure are planned, communicated, and executed effectively.
  • Apply IT Change Management best practices to control, assess, and monitor all changes in the IT environment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and present complex ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Execute tasks efficiently, meeting deadlines and ensuring timely completion of change initiatives, even under pressure.
  • Identify opportunities to automate processes and streamline workflows for improved operational efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate records of changes and track the progress of change initiatives to ensure compliance with internal standards.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, with clear and concise communication to stakeholders regarding change schedules, impacts, and updates.
  • Leverage Microsoft Office Suite (with a preference for SharePoint) to document, track, and manage change requests and approvals.

 

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology Management, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • ITIL Foundation Certification required.
  • 8+ years of practical experience in IT change management.
  • Proven experience with change management tools and methodologies.
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in high-pressure environments and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and self-motivation to meet deadlines and manage priorities effectively.

 

Preferred Skills
  • Experience with SharePoint and Microsoft Office Suite for process documentation and collaboration.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities.
