This job analyzes business processes and practices and identifies technology opportunities for the Tax Transferability Project. By working with our business partners, the ideal candidate will need to be comfortable understanding and analyzing the inventory management process for our renewable tax credits. These understandings will lead to requirement gatherings for an automated solution.
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate a strong familiarity with business processes related to the Tax Transferability Project and renewable tax credits.
- Establish and manage effective relationships with users across business, financial, and operations systems, as well as with technical team members.
- Respond to requests from stakeholders, identify conflicts, and make informed recommendations to address issues.
- Devise or modify procedures to resolve complex problems, ensuring efficient processes and effective solutions.
- Utilize knowledge of business processes to identify interdependencies and functional gaps that may affect project outcomes.
- Build a strong understanding of the technical solutions being delivered, analyzing and determining potential failure points within these solutions.
- Contribute to the application testing process, either directly or by supporting end users, to ensure solutions meet business needs.
- Create and update project documentation as appropriate, maintaining clarity and accessibility for all stakeholders involved.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role, preferably in a technology or finance environment.
- Strong understanding of inventory management processes and experience with renewable tax credits is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools is preferred.
- Experience in application testing and documentation practices.
