Our Client is looking for an experienced IP21 Developer with a strong technical background in Aspen IP21 and its layered applications. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of application migration and be proficient in relevant web technologies. This role involves analyzing business needs, implementing modifications, and integrating user-oriented elements into various applications.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain applications using Aspen IP21, ensuring efficient functionality and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and feature modification requests, converting them into software components.
- Take responsibility for application migration and rationalization projects, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal disruption.
- Integrate user-oriented elements into applications and data storage solutions, enhancing usability and functionality.
- Work with APRM and provide expertise in application migration processes.
- Collaborate effectively within R&M teams, contributing to project planning and execution.
- Utilize web technologies, including HTML and .NET, to enhance application interfaces.
- Leverage knowledge of SQL/Oracle for database interactions and optimizations.
Required Experience
- 7+ years of experience working with Aspen IP21 and related technologies.
- Proven background in IP21 layered applications and application migration expertise.
- Familiarity with web technologies, particularly HTML and .NET.
- Understanding of SQL and Oracle databases is advantageous.
- Strong analytical skills for understanding and implementing business requirements.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Experience with AspenTech products such as InfoPlus21 and Process Explorer. (Preferred)
- Knowledge of APRM and related application frameworks. (Preferred)
