Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, design, and development of scalable and maintainable native iOS applications.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, and backend engineers to define mobile solutions that meet business and user needs.
- Develop and enforce coding standards, best practices, and patterns (e.g., MVC, MVVM, VIPER) across the iOS development team.
- Mentor junior developers, conduct regular code reviews, and provide technical guidance to elevate team performance.
- Own and evolve the technical roadmap for iOS development, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and long-term scalability.
- Monitor application performance, reliability, and crash analytics, and proactively resolve issues to enhance user experience.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, and deployment tools for streamlined delivery.
- Stay up to date with the latest iOS trends, SDKs, tools, and Apple ecosystem changes, ensuring adoption of relevant technologies.
- Ensure compliance with Apple’s App Store guidelines, privacy regulations, and accessibility standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in mobile development with a strong focus on native iOS applications.
- Expert-level proficiency in Swift and Objective-C.
- Strong hands-on experience with Xcode, UIKit, SwiftUI, and Core Data.
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, and mobile architecture patterns such as MVC, MVVM, and VIPER.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Bitrise, GitHub Actions) and automated testing frameworks (e.g., XCTest, XCUITest).
- Deep knowledge of mobile security best practices, performance optimization, and accessibility guidelines.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
