We are seeking an experienced Intune / Application Packaging Engineer to support enterprise endpoint management and software deployment initiatives. The role focuses on packaging, testing, and deploying Windows applications using Microsoft Intune while contributing to the modernization of endpoint management across a large-scale enterprise environment.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Package, test, and deploy Windows applications using Microsoft Intune (Endpoint Manager).
- Create, maintain, and troubleshoot Win32 (.intunewin) application packages.
- Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for application installation, uninstallation, and detection logic.
- Manage application lifecycle activities including versioning, updates, and deployment tracking.
- Ensure application deployments are reliable, secure, and compliant with enterprise standards.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and service desk teams to resolve deployment and packaging issues.
- Support modernization initiatives for endpoint management across Windows environments.
- Maintain documentation for packaging standards, deployment processes, and troubleshooting guides.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in application packaging and software deployment.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Manager.
- Strong experience creating and deploying Win32 applications via Intune.
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for application deployment and automation.
- Experience with troubleshooting application installation and detection issues in enterprise environments.
- Solid understanding of Windows operating system environments and software deployment lifecycle.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM / MECM).
- Exposure to Windows Autopilot for device provisioning and onboarding.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and modern identity management.
- Understanding of hybrid and cloud-based endpoint management strategies.
- Familiarity with enterprise ITIL processes (incident, change, release management).
