Job Description
Key Responsibilities
  • Capture and document comprehensive business requirements from clients, product management, implementation, operations teams, and third-party vendors to support strategic projects.
  • Create and maintain system and process flow diagrams to capture and represent critical components in a schematic format.
  • Design and deliver strategic interfaces to support the Alpha Data Platform’s software and service offerings.
  • Evaluate and recommend third-party systems and solutions to extend and enhance the Alpha Platform’s capabilities.
  • Foster and manage relationships across Alpha, State Street, CRD, Performance systems, and third-party teams to support the Alpha Platform Management team.
  • Collaborate on and contribute to strategic initiatives that align with the Alpha Platform Management team’s goals.
  • Develop and implement test strategies and execute test cases as required to ensure integration quality.
  • Assist with client onboarding and support Business User Acceptance Testing (BUAT) and Client User Acceptance Testing (CUAT) processes.
  • Enhance end-to-end workflow processes, data controls, and monitoring capabilities.
  • Utilize CI/CD practices and cloud technologies to design and develop scalable, integrated systems.
  • Apply strong programming skills, SQL expertise, and experience with Snowflake, cloud concepts, relational database design, and process integration.

 

Requirements
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in solution development, integration, or architectural roles.
  • Established subject matter expertise in two or more of the following areas: system development, application implementation, and data integration.
  • Proven experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including business services, information systems, and enterprise application development.
  • Expertise in front office systems and trading operations.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the end-to-end investment management lifecycle.
  • Advanced proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Confluence, and Jira, with experience in Agile project management practices.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage priorities in a dynamic environment.
