We are seeking an experienced Integration & RPA Engineer with 3–5+ years of hands-on experience designing, developing, and supporting enterprise integrations and robotic process automation solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in iPaaS platforms such as SnapLogic or MuleSoft, along with experience building REST/SOAP integrations and automating web-based processes using RPA technologies.
The role requires an independent, hands-on engineer who can quickly understand existing environments, develop integration solutions, troubleshoot issues, and deliver reliable automation with minimal onboarding.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, configure, and maintain integrations using iPaaS platforms such as SnapLogic, MuleSoft, Boomi, or Workato.
- Build and support REST and SOAP API integrations between enterprise applications and external systems.
- Implement authentication mechanisms including OAuth and API-key authentication.
- Perform data mapping, transformation, validation, and orchestration across integrated systems.
- Develop and maintain SFTP and AS2-based file transfer integrations.
- Implement robust retry, exception handling, logging, and error-recovery mechanisms.
- Develop RPA solutions using UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Microsoft Power Automate.
- Automate web portals and repetitive business processes using RPA technologies.
- Troubleshoot integration failures, API issues, data discrepancies, and automation errors.
- Monitor integration and automation processes and proactively resolve production issues.
- Work independently with minimal onboarding and quickly understand existing integration architectures and processes.
- Create technical documentation covering integration flows, configurations, dependencies, error handling, and support procedures.
- Collaborate with technical and business teams to understand requirements and deliver scalable integration and automation solutions.
- Support short-term, sprint-based, and project-focused delivery initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of hands-on experience in integration engineering and/or RPA development.
- Strong experience with an iPaaS platform, preferably:
- SnapLogic
- MuleSoft
- BoomiAutomation
- Workato
- Hands-on experience developing REST and SOAP integrations.
- Strong understanding of OAuth, API-key authentication, and API integration patterns.
- Experience with data mapping and transformation.
- Experience with SFTP and/or AS2 file-based integrations.
- Experience implementing retry, exception handling, logging, and error-handling mechanisms.
- Hands-on experience with at least one RPA platform:
- UiPath
- Automation Anywhere
- Microsoft Power Automate
- Experience automating web-based portals and business processes.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal guidance or onboarding.
- Strong technical documentation and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building email parsing and ingestion pipelines.
- Experience with email-based automation and processing workflows.
- Experience integrating with enterprise SaaS applications and external platforms.
- Prior experience working in short-term, sprint-based, or consulting-style projects.
- Familiarity with API testing and troubleshooting tools such as Postman.
- Experience with production support, monitoring, and integration lifecycle management.
