As an Infrastructure Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and optimizing an organization s network infrastructure. This role requires a deep understanding of networking protocols, hardware, and security, with a focus on ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance of the network environment. You will work closely with other IT teams, including security, systems, and application teams, to ensure seamless integration and operation of network services across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Engineer will design and deploy robust, scalable, and secure network architectures that meet business requirements
- Implement and configure routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, load balancers, and other network devices
- Develop and maintain network diagrams, documentation, and standard operating procedures Network Maintenance and Optimization
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize network operations to ensure maximum uptime and efficiency
- As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will perform regular network maintenance, including updates, patches, and upgrades of network hardware and software
- Analyze network traffic and usage patterns to identify potential bottlenecks and recommend improvements Security and Compliance:
- Implement and manage network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and VPNs
- Ensure the network infrastructure complies with industry standards and regulatory requirements
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Geography, Cartography, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Must possess a valid State of Florida Driver’s License with a good driving record.
