We are seeking a skilled Infrastructure Engineer to manage and support a diverse range of infrastructure technologies, including server systems, storage, virtualization, backups, and networking. The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on expertise and thrive in a collaborative, mature team environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain both Linux and Windows Server environments.
- Support and assist in the transition from VMware to Red Hat OpenShift, with a strong preference for prior OpenShift experience.
- Administer Active Directory in both on-premises and Azure environments.
- Oversee storage systems, with a primary focus on Pure Storage.
- Manage Cisco UCS infrastructure and related hardware.
- Administer and monitor backup solutions, primarily Veeam, with the flexibility to evaluate and support alternatives like Castin, Trilio, and Commvault.
- Provide support for telecom systems (e.g., RingCentral).
- Assist with networking-related tasks, including SAN and UCS connectivity.
- Participate in network security initiatives and infrastructure diagnostics.
- Document systems, procedures, and configurations thoroughly.
- Mentor and support junior team members as needed.
Required Experience & Skills
- Proven experience in a similar infrastructure engineering role or the ability to demonstrate relevant knowledge and technical capability.
- Strong experience with:
- Red Hat OpenShift (hands-on experience strongly preferred)
- Linux and Windows Server administration
- Active Directory (on-premises and Azure AD)
- Cisco UCS
- Pure Storage (SAN)
- Veeam backup solutions
Preferred Experience
- Exposure to other backup solutions: Castin, Trilio, Commvault
- Familiarity with additional storage platforms: NetApp, Synology, Pivot3
- Experience with RingCentral or similar telecom platforms
Qualifications
- Relevant technical education and/or certifications are a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team structure.
