Key Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical support for security tools, systems, and processes designed to protect technology-based information.
• Develop, test, and implement security plans, policies, and controls to ensure a robust and secure environment.
• Review circumstances surrounding data security incidents, identify root causes, and design corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
• Create and maintain security documentation, including policies, procedures, and incident reports to ensure compliance and improve organizational practices.
• Perform security monitoring (Blue Team) tasks, analyze security logs, and investigate security-related events to mitigate risks.
• Work with cloud-based environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) to implement security protocols and ensure the integrity of cloud services.
• Deploy and manage Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing platforms.
• Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability assessments, and penetration tests to identify security gaps and implement effective data security procedures.
• Provide technical guidance and support to internal teams, clients, and stakeholders regarding security best practices.

Key Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in systems engineering, working with both Windows and Linux environments.
• 5+ years of experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud (GCP), including cloud security best practices and securing cloud infrastructure.
• 5+ years of experience deploying and managing a SIEM platform, including the integration of security information and event management tools into existing infrastructure.
• 5+ years of experience in security monitoring and incident response, including log analysis and identifying security threats and breaches.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to investigate and mitigate security risks.
• Excellent documentation skills to produce clear and concise security policies, incident reports, and technical documentation.
• Expertise in performing log analysis and investigating security-related items (e.g., network traffic, application logs, user behavior)
